Our Story

Clear Interiors was established in 2003 by Jane as a family-run, local, domestic cleaning company. Jane always saw home as a safe place to retreat to, where you can relax and get the feeling of security and comfort that the word, ‘home’ conjures up. Her passion for home comforts inspired Jane to set up her own domestic cleaning service in Norwich.

She started out as a cleaner herself and has also employed cleaners in her home before, so she had a 360 degree view of domestic cleaning from the perspective of her customers, her staff and as a business manager.

Clear Interiors is a company that hasn’t stood still. Jane stepped into a full-time management role in 2012, giving her more time to spend training staff and developing quality assurance processes, driving up cleaning standards and job satisfaction.

As the customer base grew further, Clear Interiors was in need of an Assistant Manager to handle day-to-day operations. We were lucky to discover that the ideal candidate was already working as part of our cleaning team! Susie, our then Assistant Manager, started in this role in 2014 and has been an invaluable asset to the business ever since.

Jane was then able to focus on bigger projects for developing the services we offered that catered to changing needs and tastes of customers in Norwich. Such projects included: ethical employment standards, improving our green credentials, introduction of technology and automation and of course, always seeking for ways to improve the standards of cleans and customer service we offer.

In 2024, Jane was ready to step back from the business into semi-retirement and Susie was ready to take over Clear Interiors. Susie is now the Owner and Manager and is ready to continue driving Clear Interiors forwards!
