Clear Interiors Staff Interview – Tracey

We hope you’ve had a fantastic Christmas and not overdone it on the mince pies too much. We’re currently in recovery from doing just that and just emerging from a few days in hibernation.

Today we have another one of our staff interviews to help you get to know our fantastic team better. You can read about other team members by clicking here, but this week it’s:

IMG_1815Tracey has been with us since April 2010 and even from looking at her experience on her C.V. I knew she was worth her weight in gold and has gone on to prove herself a million times over. She has a fantastic sense of humour (like all our staff!). She’s caring and considerate and always help out team members when they need help without even being asked.

A few months ago we had a bout of staff sickness, which means sharing out all our customers jobs with fewer team members. I had to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in to help get everything done and whilst out at a customer’s house, Tracey turned up unannounced to help out! I was so touched it brought a tear to my eye. Her caring nature benefits the customers too. She once thoughtfully bought a waste paper bin for one of our Norwich based customers who is not able to leave the house.

Tracey is really tidy, organised and responsible and gets all her work done with the minimum of fuss. Her immaculately organised work bag is a sight to behold and almost puts me to shame! So, without further ado, here are a few words from Tracey.

Q. How long have you been working for Clear Interiors?

A. For three years in April 2013.

Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A. I have lived in Norwich all my life and been with my fiancee for almost 22 years and have two beautiful teenage daughters. I am a homely kind of girl and love our two rescue cats.

Q. What is the best part of working for Clear Interiors?

A. Meeting new people and hopefully making their lives a little bit easier.

Q. What’s your top cleaning tip?

A. I have two! To mask smells, put some coffee beans in a pan and burn them. The smell of the coffee will overwhelm any other nasty smells. To restore toilets to their best use old, flat Coca Cola and leave overnight to remove limescale.

Q. What do you like doing in your spare time?

A. Being out and about with my fiancee and girls as much as possible, drinking coffee and driving to the coast.

Q. What do you like about Norwich?

A. Everything is close by, including my family.

Q. Where is your favourite place in Norwich?

A. My home… or Costa.
